Meeting Minutes is an AI skill that turns rough meeting notes or a raw transcript into clean meeting minutes: separated decisions and action items (who, what, by when), plus a ready-to-send follow-up email, Slack note or task export.

What this skill does

  • Handles loose notes AND full transcripts (Zoom/Teams/Otter/Fireflies)
  • Cleanly separates binding decisions from discussion
  • Action table with owner, due date, status — missing fields are flagged
  • Detects meeting type and sets the right focus (standup, sync, 1:1, retro, sales, board)
  • Carries open tasks forward across recurring meetings
  • Confidentiality mode: keeps sensitive content factual without losing substance
  • Actively offers follow-ups: email, Slack note, per-person tasks, task/calendar export

Description

Meeting Minutes is a skill for writing meeting minutes and meeting summaries — it turns rough notes or a raw transcript into clear minutes with decisions and action items kept separate (who does what, by when). Turns scrambled notes or a full Zoom/Teams/Otter transcript into professional minutes: a TL;DR for the busy, clearly separated decisions, an action table (owner/due/status), open points and risks. Invents nothing — missing owners or dates are flagged and collected. Detects the meeting type (standup, sync, decision, 1:1, retro, sales, board), carries open tasks forward across recurring meetings, and keeps sensitive content factual: gossip stays out, a real concern is reworded neutrally. On request it produces a follow-up email, a Slack note, a per-person task list or an export for your task tool.

Examples

What it does not do

  • Won't invent participants, decisions, numbers or dates
  • Doesn't moderate meetings or plan agendas
  • Won't make decisions for you
  • Doesn't post directly into tools (provides an export, not live posting)
  • No audio/live transcription

Frequently asked questions

What does Meeting Minutes do?

Meeting Minutes is an AI skill that turns rough meeting notes or a raw transcript into clean meeting minutes: separated decisions and action items (who, what, by when), plus a ready-to-send follow-up email, Slack note or task export.

How do I write meeting minutes?

Good meeting minutes separate decisions from action items and capture each task with an owner and a due date. Meeting Minutes writes them automatically from rough notes or a raw transcript, so you don't start from a blank page.

How do I summarize a meeting transcript with AI?

Paste your raw Zoom, Teams or Otter transcript and Meeting Minutes distills it into a clean summary with separated decisions and clear action items — instead of one long, unstructured wall of text.

What should be included in meeting minutes?

The essentials are the decisions made and the action items with who, what and by when. Meeting Minutes structures exactly that, then offers follow-ups like a recap email, a Slack note or a task export.

How do I track action items after a meeting?

Every action item needs an owner and a due date or it slips through the cracks. Meeting Minutes pulls the action items into a clear who-does-what-by-when list and flags any that are missing an owner or deadline.
